We spent a week in Room 203 Santo Domingo and loved it! Our suite was large, well appointed, and comfortable. It was at the top and the back of the hotel, so well away from traffic noise. The staff were outstanding, very helpful and quickly responsive to requests. They can recommend a driver to take you to the archeological sites or a taxi to the Centro or airport. The food in the restaurant was excellent! We tried many items off their menu and can highly recommend them for their seafood dishes. Every room overlooks the lovely courtyard garden where the birds would visit and you can enjoy the pool and whirlpool. We loved the design of the hotel, but if you have trouble with stairs, ask for a ground level suite. The multi-level restaurant is accessible by elevator. The hotel is located in a quiet neighborhood north of the Centro, which we liked and taxis were extremely affordable to take us to all the museums and attractions.

It is located in a quiet neighborhood on a hill outside of the busy crowded noisy El Centro. Once inside the surrounding walls of this beautifully landscaped hotel you can shut off the hustle and bustle of the town. Take a swim in the pool have a cocktail and snack while enjoying the cooler fresher air inside the walled courtyard. The staff were extremely helpful and courteous starting with Hernando at the front desk who will make sure all your needs are met. He set up taxis, airport transfers and private tours to remote pueblos to see the various artists at work making and selling their pottery, alebrijes, weaving etc. If you don’t speak Espanol no hay problema. The property appears to have been completely remodeled and is super clean and comfy. The 2 restaurants on site served excellent food and drinks. We stayed in a jr suite #207 for 7 nights and would do it again in a minute.

Robert

Large, well appointed rooms, good air conditioning, nice restaurant and bar with views of the pool and garden. Staff were helpful and attentive. Jose, the doorman and concierge, was very generous in offering information to make our stay in Oaxaca memorable. We have friends who live nearby and they always recommend Casa de Adobe- now we know why.

Mary

Hotel isvery well smart, clean and generally very well run. The rooms are comfortable, room servicing good and the beds also comfortable. Everything provided in the bathroom. The restaurant did not disappoint. Reception did their very best to assist, even given my complete lack of Spanish, my bad.

Linda

This is an absolutely beautiful hotel and the staff were extremely attentive. If you want upscale, this is a place to consider. The pool was lovely and there were multiple terraces to sit and enjoy the weather. Unfortunately the third floor bar was closed for renovations.
